I'm Jean Marco Marte (Jean Marte), a software engineer based in Santo Domingo. I work with businesses that already run but that outgrew the way they organise themselves. My job is turning that into a system: one system, that your team can use without a manual.
Before writing a single line of code I want to understand how your business actually works today, because a system that doesn't fit the real operation gets abandoned within two months. That's why every decision is explained by its effect on your business, not by the technology behind it.

Hire Me
I don't know if I really need a system.
The initial assessment is free. I look at how your business runs today and tell you what's actually needed — even if the answer is that you don't need to hire me yet.
How much does it cost?
It depends on scope, which is why I don't publish a flat rate: sorting out a business's invoicing isn't the same job as building a system with inventory, users and reports. What sets the price is how many processes are involved, whether it has to connect to something you already use, and how many people will work inside it. The initial assessment is free: I look at how your operation runs today and tell you what's needed before we talk numbers.
How long does it take?
The timeline is agreed in writing before we start, along with the scope, and it comes from what the system actually has to do. I build in stages: you see progress throughout instead of waiting months for a single delivery. If something is going to slip, you hear it when it happens, not at the end.
Will you disappear once I've paid?
No. You get progress updates throughout development and continuous access to the work: you know what stage your project is in at any moment, not only at the end.
What if I need changes halfway through?
Scope and revisions are defined in writing before we start, so we both know what's included and what gets quoted separately. No surprises mid-project.
What if you don't deliver what we agreed?
If what was agreed isn't delivered, you get your money back. What counts as "agreed" is put in writing before we start, so it doesn't come down to anyone's interpretation.
Will I own the system?
Yes. When the project ends you receive full access to the code, the accounts and the agreed resources. It's all planned before we start, and after launch maintenance and further development are available.
I don't know anything about programming.
You don't need to. Every decision is explained through its impact on your business: what it saves you, what it lets you do, and what happens if it isn't done.
